Training Ground Injury Knocks O’Driscoll Out

Mick O’Driscoll has been forced out of the Munster side for Sunday clash with Connacht after injuring an ankle in training yesterday. His place in the starting line-up will be taken by Paul O’Connell

A training ground injury has forced Mick O’Driscoll to withdraw from the Munster side ahead of Sunday’s clash with Connacht at Thomond Park. O’Driscoll injured an ankle and is expected to be out of action until the New Year.

His place in the Munster side goes to Paul O’Connell with Chris Wyatt drafted into the replacements.

Meanwhile, Christian Cullen, who is set to make his first start since injuring a shoulder against Ulster at the end of September is no longer considered an ‘overseas’ player having been resident in this coutry for the past three years.
