Pucciariello For The Ba Bas
25th November 2007 By Munster Rugby
Munster’s prop Federico Pucciariello produced a storming try scoring performance on Saturday night ahead of his trip to England to join up with the Barbarians squad.
The popular Argentine scored his side’s fifth try but has been released from Munster duties next weekend in order to play for the Barbarians in their game against South Africa at Twickenham on Saturday.
“It is a great honour to be asked to play for the Barbarians,” he said, “particularly in a game such as this, against the World champions in Twickenham. Of course I hate to miss the game with Leinster. That is always the game you want to play in. But this occasion at Twickenham is special and I am very thankful to Munster for releasing me to play.”
