RFU & PRL Nearing Agreement ?
17th May 2007 By Munster Rugby
According to media reports, although tomorrow’s deadline for agreement between the two parties will not be met, the RFU and PRL have made progress after four days of negotiations.
It is understood that the Rugby Football Union was drawing up a draft agreement which it hopes to present to Premier Rugby by tomorrow but the two sides would then have to gain the approval of their organisations before anything could be signed.
The RFU had intended to hold a meeting of its management board tomorrow but that meeting has been put off until next next when Premier Rugby’s board will also meet.
