Murphy Injury Mars Munster Victory.

Murphy Injury Mars Munster Victory.

While Declan Kidney will have been delighted with the six try performance of his A side in Shawsbridge yesterday, the victory was somewhat marred by the shoulder injury sustained by Barry Murphy.

Murphy was one of the livliest performers in a particularly potent Munster backline in the opening half but was forced off injured mid way through the second quarter. On his previous visit to Belfast Murphy suffered a serious ankle injury that robbed him of  a place in the Heineken Cup winning squad.

How long he will be out will become clearer later today.
