A superbly worked 33rd minute try from Jamie Heaslip has Irelnd leading 13-10 at half time in an absorbing RBS Six Nations game at Croke Park.
Ronan O’Gara opened the scoring with a 2nd minute penalty before Imanol Harinordoquy scored a try in the corner that Lionel Beauxis converted. O’Gara added a 16th minute penalty and missed a third before adding the points to Heaslip’s try. In injury time of a pulsating contest Beauxis added a drop goal after Ireland were somewhat lucky to see their line remain intact.
