Munster were presented with the 2008/09 Magners League trophy on Friday night in Thomond Park after they defeated the Ospreys 36-10 in their final game of the season.
The Magners League presentation provided the perfect setting for the supporters to bid farewell to some of Munster’s fondest players, as Frankie Sheahan, Anthony Horgan, Federico Pucciariello, John O’Sullivan, Mike Prendergast and Kieran Lewis all ran out for the final time in the red jersey.
Munster Rugby would like to thank all supporters who remained in Thomond Park for the presentation and for the great send off shown to Munster’s departing players.
