Grand Final Countdown
24th May 2011 By Munster Rugby
Munster began their Magners Grand Finals preparations with a training session in a sunny but cold Thomond Park stadium this morning.
Besides the obvious walking wounded such as Jerry Flannery who was in attendance, Tony Buckley, sat out the session, ruled out of action for the coming weeks having undergone surgery in Santry yesterday on the AC joint in his left shoulder.
Buckley will be required to rest up for ten days before beginning the rehab that will have him in contention for the August internationals.
Munster will confine themselves to their respective gyms tomorrow before completing the preparations with a training spin in Cork on Thursday and the traditional Captain's run at the match venue on Friday afternoon.
