Show your support for the final match of Munster legend John Hayes on St. Stephen’s Day. Please note tickets are still available for this game.
RaboDirect PRO12 Munster v Connacht, St. Stephen’s Day, 26th Dec., ko 7.45pm. Munster Rugby have nominated this fixture as an official “Charity Match” for this season's three nominated charities.
Gates will open at 5.45pm. Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket. View plan of Thomond park here.
Tickets
Please note tickets can be purchased on St. Stephen’s Day at the Mobile Ticket Unit outside the East Stand in Thomond Park from 2.00pm until kick off. Tickets may also be purchased here. Tickets will also be available to purchase in the Cork and Limerick Munster Rugby stores over the festive period.
Supporters are advised to come early for ticket collections in order to avoid lengthy queues in the run-up to kick-off.
Season ticket holders – please note the allocated match ticket is the orange coloured RaboDirect PRO12 Match 3.
Travel
Please try to arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.
The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel starting from 4pm
Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road starting from 5.30pm
Raheen Ryans Centra starting from 5.30pm
Woodlands Hotel Adare starting at 6.30pm
There is a public bus service operating directly from Limerick City centre to Thomond Park Stadium from 5.45pm, picking up outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry Street, with a return service following the game.
Supporters can pre-book their parking online for Q-Park Harvey’s Quay at www.q-park.ie
There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium but parking is available at all city centre car parks.
Pre-Match
The Dug Out bar will be open from 5.45pm with promotions from Live 95fm. There are numerous bars and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 5.45pm.
On pitch entertainment starts at 7pm, and features Cara O’Sullivan and Arcana.
Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;5. Munster Rugby will donate €;1 for each programme sold to its three nominated charities Motor Neurone Research, C.R.O.S.S. and Acquired Brain Injury Ireland. The Thomond Park Stadium Museum will be open on match-day from 5.00pm to 7.15pm with admission only €;3.
Stadium Information
Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.
No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.
Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.
There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
