Munster Back To Winning Ways In Musgrave Park
28th October 2011 By Munster Rugby
The power of the Munster pack and the boot of Ronan O’Gara helped Munster to an 18-9 win over Aironi at a wet windy miserable Musgrave Park.
O'Gara kicked all their points, three penalties in either half before being replaced by Scott Deasy in the 63rd minute.
Munster, playing into a strong wind opened their account with an O'Gara penalty in the 3rd minute. He added to that with a second four minutes later before his opposite number Luciano Arquera kicked his side's first score in the 12 minute.
Arquera should have levelled in the 18th minute missing a penalty from the 22 and O'Gara landed a third penalty in the 38th minute, kicking into an ever strengthening wind.
