Meeting Points

The Munster Rugby Supporters Club have announced a number of meeting points for the weekend.

1. Robin Hood, 9 Place Alexander Laissac

Next to the tramline and ease of access to get to the game. They will offer happy hour prices all weekend on production of MRSC membership card. Pizzas and hot sandwiches will be made available on request.

Free Red visors will also be distributed from this pub on Saturday.

2. O’Sullivan's – Esplanade de l’Europe

Next to hotel area. Happy Heineken hour on Saturday. €;4 Guinness/Heineken all weekend, or pint and burger/curry €;10.

3. O’Carolans & Fitzpatricks – 5 Rue du Petit Scel/5 Place Saint Côme

20% discount over the weekend to Munster supporters.

4. Shakespeare – 12 rue de la Petit Loge

Happy Hour prices all weekend. Located in the pedestrianised area of the town.

Travel Advice

Supporters travelling to the stadium (Stade de la Mosson) should use tramway Line 1 (blue) selecting the Stade de la Mosson stop or tramway Line 3 (green) and select the MOSSON stop.

Tram tickets can be purchased in newsagents or at any tram station. The tram map and further details can be found here. Details of a free tram app with timetables for iphone/ipad can be found here.

We would recommend that you make your journey from the tramway line at Gare Saint-Roch allowing 30 minutes for the journey, and then if taking Line 3 a further 30 minutes to get in from MOSSON tramway.

Montpellier’s main train station is Gare Saint-Roch and is located 400 metres from the main centre Place de la Comédie.

Montpellier Méditerranée Airport, formerly Fréjorgues Airport, is situated on the outskirts and a bus service called Navette operates to the centre of Montpellier taking approximately 20 minutes.

By car from the A9 motorway: Exit West Montpellier. Take direction Mosson and Silver Cross.

At The Stadium

The road in front of the stadium will be closed off to allow for bars and music before the game and the entertainment will start from 3pm onwards.

Please note we have been advised that supporters should get to the stadium early and supporters should allow ample time in getting there.

Munster Rugby flags will be available at various points outside the stadium, keep an eye out and please take one or two!

Keep the messages coming in to supportersclub@munsterrugby.ie and they will be displayed in the Munster Rugby team room in the build up to kick-off.
