2015 Sponsors’ Golf Event

On Thursday last, Munster Rugby team management, staff and sponsors took advantage of the summer sun for the 2015 Munster Rugby Sponsors’ Golf Day at Mount Juliet Golf Club.

The fun event saw seven teams tee off in a four person scramble with each player also competing in 'nearest the pin' and 'longest drive' competitions.

Munster Rugby hosted the outing to thank sponsors for their continued support of the province, with keen and novice golfers alike enjoying an afternoon of friendly competition on the 18 hole course.

Sponsors in attendance on the day included; Bank of Ireland, adidas, Diageo, Lifestyle Sports, Gilbert, Deloitte, Trend Micro, Focus Consulting, Ronan Daly Jermyn, Munster Sports Travel, Action Point, Eircom and G4S, along with representatives from the Munster Rugby Supporters Club.

Prior to dinner, guest were treated to a drinks reception sponsored by Diageo with Deep River Rock providing water and soft drinks.

Upon completion of the competition, newly elected President of the Munster Branch, Bertie Smith, was on hand to make presentations to the event's prizewinners.
