Pre-Season Week 3 Update

The squad are completing their third week of preseason today in Cork with numbers boosted earlier in the week with the return of the Emerging Ireland players.

Stephen Archer, Andrew Conway, James Cronin, Billy Holland and academy player Rory Scannell were all part of the Tbilisi Cup winning side that lifted the cup in Georgia in June.

With the players joining the squad and commencing their own pre-season programmes this week Billy Holland however will follow a rehabilitation programme.

Billy sustained a broken ankle in the final Emerging Ireland game against Georgia and underwent surgery on his return. He is expected to be out for 10 weeks.
