This Week At Munster Rugby

Munster are back in Guinness PRO14 action this Saturday evening as we travel to Italy for a clash with Benetton in Treviso (5pm Irish time, live on eir Sport & Premier Sports).
The province remain 11 points clear at the top of Conference B following the weekend’s narrow defeat to Leinster as Connacht fell to a home loss against Ospreys with both provinces collecting losing bonus points.

Monday

The Ireland squad for the 2021 Guinness Six Nations was named on Monday morning with 10 Munster players, including the uncapped Craig Casey, in the squad. See full details here.

On the domestic front, week three of the Weekly Skills and Conditioning Programme will be published on munsterrugby.ie/domestic.
Tuesday
We will be hosting a remote press conference previewing Saturday’s PRO14 fixture against Benetton.
An Inpho photographer will be at training and we will have a gallery of the best pics on munsterrugby.ie.
We hear the latest about the province’s young players in this month’s Academy Update with Elite Player Development Officer Greig Oliver.
There will also be a #NeverStopCompeting moment on our social channels.
For the Mini rugby players and coaches, we will be posting an exercise for offloading on our social channels as part of the #RugbyFUNdamentals home skills programme.
Wednesday

The Munster Rugby Development Department recently held senior coaching courses with input from the Munster Rugby coaching team and we will have a round-up of the activities.
We will have more clips from the #RugbyFUNdamentals Home Skills Programme with an evasion exercise.
Friday
The Munster team to face Benetton will be named before noon on munsterrugby.ie.
Saturday
It’s gameday in Italy as we face Benetton at Stadio Monigo. The game will be live on eir Sport and Premier Sports with updates and behind the scenes footage throughout on our social channels.
