Dorothy Wall & Gavin Coombes Among RPI Award Winners

Gavin Coombes won the Young Player of the Year award.
Dorothy Wall won the Women’s Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year with Gavin Coombes winning the Nevin Spence Men’s Young Player of the Year award at Friday’s Rugby Players Ireland awards.
Robbie Henshaw was named Men’s Player of the Year, Béibhinn Parsons won the Women’s Try of the Year Award for her effort against Wales in the Six Nations and JJ Hanrahan’s try for Munster against Cardiff won the Men’s Try of the Year.
CJ Stander accepted the Moment of the Year Award on behalf of his former Irish teammates for their victory over England in the final round of the Six Nations. The occasion also marked Stander’s last outing in green.
Lucy Mulhall won the Irish Women’s 7s Player of the Year with Olympian Terry Kennedy claiming the Irish Men’s 7s Player of the Year for a third time.
The Contribution to Irish Society award was presented to Tommy Bowe.
