The Munster Rugby men’s team returned to training at the HPC on Monday following a down week as the pre-season programme ramps up ahead of the first pre-season game against Leinster at Musgrave Park on Friday, September 8.

There is plenty of news on the international front for members of the squad.
Antoine Frisch starts at out-half for the Barbarians against Manu Samoa in Brive on Friday night.
Jean Kleyn and RG Snyman start together in the Springboks engine room for the first time against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.
The IRFU confirmed on Wednesday that Gavin Coombes and Calvin Nash are among five players who will return to their provinces to continue their pre-season training programmes.
Keith Earls is set to make his 100th appearance against England on Saturday. Tadhg Beirne and Peter O’Mahony both start the game with Earls, Jack Crowley, Jeremy Loughman & Conor Murray among the replacements. Loughman joined the squad this week.
