Video & Pics | Sun’s Out For Summer Camps
14th July 2017 By The Editor
The sun was well and truly out for the Bank of Ireland Munster Rugby Summer Camps in Highfield, Scariff and Tralee this week where the kids enjoyed visits from members of the Munster squad and the Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour.
In Cork, Kevin O’Byrne visited his old stomping ground of Highfield RFC alongside Stephen Archer where the pair were on hand to meet the kids, sign autographs and take part in a fun Q&A.
Stephen Fitzgerald and Dan Goggin helped out with activities at the Tralee RFC camp with Fitzgerald meeting some of Munster’s future reds below.
Meanwhile, selfies were the order of the day as Robin Copeland and Darren O’Shea went to Clare to visit the kids in Scariff RFC.
MunsterRugby.ie headed along to Scariff with Robin and Darren to take in the fun!
This week’s kids can count themselves extra lucky, as along with the extra-fine weather, they got the chance to have their picture taken with the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy. The Trophy Tour is taking in more than 100 events before the tournament begins at the UCD Bowl in Dublin this August.
Not only was the trophy on display but members of the Ireland Women’s panel were also in attendance at the venues with Leah Lyons, Deirbhile Nic a Bhaird and Anna Caplice making appearances at Highfield and Scariff.
