Squad Update | Pre-Exeter Chiefs

Sammy Arnold has returned to full training.

After Friday night’s 32-28 win over London Irish at Irish Independent Park, the Munster squad returned to training at the High Performance Centre today ahead of their second game of the Kearys Renault Series 2018 against Exeter Chiefs.

That game takes place at Irish Independent Park on Friday night at 7.30pm with tickets available here.

There were no injury issues with any of the 30 players involved in the win over London Irish three days ago.

There was good news for Sammy Arnold (knee) as he returns to full training this week.

Niall Scannell (shoulder) and Stephen Archer (pec) are both continuing to progress well with their return to play rehabilitation.

Continuing to rehab: Chris Cloete (groin), Tyler Bleyendaal (neck), Conor Oliver (toe), Chris Farrell (knee), Liam O’Connor (knee), Jack O’Donoghue (knee), and Ronan O’Mahony (ankle).

It was announced earlier today that Tadhg Beirne is in the running for the Guinness PRO14 Players’ Player of the Year award. Andrew Conway, Rory Scannell and Sammy Arnold are nominated for the 2017/18 PRO14 Dream Team with the awards ceremony taking place in Glasgow tonight.
