Premiership side Gloucester are top quality opposition and lead Pool 2 of the Champions Cup following the opening round having defeated French champions Castres Olympique 19-14 last weekend.

Gloucester are led by Director of Rugby and former Ireland international David Humphreys and Head Coach Johan Ackermann, a former Springbok.

A bright start to their domestic campaign has seen Gloucester establish themselves in the top four of the Premiership with in-form out-half Danny Cipriani voted the league’s Player of the Month for September.

The Gloucester squad also includes a former Munster man with Gerbrandt Grobler scoring one try in four appearances since making the move from Limerick to Gloucester over the summer.
