Ticket & Matchday Info | Munster v Gloucester

Champions Cup rugby returns to Thomond Park.

Munster’s first home Champions Cup game of the season sees Gloucester visit Thomond Park on Saturday, October 20. The game kicks off at 1pm with gates open at 11am.

Gloucester lead Pool 2 after a 19-14 win over French champions Castres Olympique last weekend with Munster drawing 10-all away to Exeter Chiefs.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In support of our nominated charity, The Irish Cancer Society, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the matchday squad will wear pink t-shirts during the warm-up against Gloucester on Saturday.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer affecting Irish women with almost 900 women in Munster diagnosed each year. The Irish Cancer Society is funding lifesaving cancer research to find new ways of treating breast cancer, and a number of local services to ensure those affected by cancer have the support they need, including Daffodil Centres in Cork University Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital, Waterford University Hospital and Limerick University Hospital, whereby anyone concerned about cancer can drop into the centres to chat to a Cancer Nurse.

98% of the charity’s work is funded through donations so support is crucial. For more information on hosting a Cups Against Breast Cancer coffee morning, click here. You can also show your support now by texting PINK to 50300 to donate €4. Texts cost €4. Irish Cancer Society will receive a minimum of €3.60. Service Provider: LIKECHARITY. Helpline: 076 6805278.
