Munster captain Peter O’Mahony is aiming for his side to produce their best performance of the season at Thomond Park on Saturday as Pool 2 leaders Gloucester visit in the Champions Cup (1pm).

Munster fought back to claim a 10-all draw against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park last weekend in their Champions Cup opener. O’Mahony was among the many standout performers on the day as Joey Carbery kicked a penalty and converted CJ Stander’s try.

Gloucester made a winning return to Champions Cup rugby thanks to a 19-14 win over French champions Castres Olympique at Kingsholm on Sunday.
