Head Coach Peter Malone has named his Munster A side to face Connacht Eagles at the Sportsground tomorrow at 1pm.

Once again the squad is primarily made up of club representatives with six Greencore Academy players in the starting XV, including Ben Healy who has also been named in tonight’s extended squad to face London Irish at Irish Independent Park.

There are seven changes to the side that suffered defeat to Leinster in round 3.  Academy prop Josh Wycherley will captain the side for his first appearance in this season’s Celtic Cup campaign, and he is joined by Scott Buckley, James Kendrick, Cian Hurley, Charlie O’Doherty, Pa Ryan and Jonathan Wren in the starting line-up.

The replacements include six players all in line to make their first appearance at this level – Ethan Coughlan (Ennis), Jack Delaney (Garryowen), Dylan Murphy (Cork Con), Evan Murphy (Nenagh) Daniele Okeke (Thomond) and Kieran O’Shea (UL Bohs).

Munster A:  Alan Tynan; Jonathan Wren, Harry O’Riordan, Pa Ryan, Rob Hedderman; Ben Healy, Charlie O’Doherty; Josh Wycherley (Capt), Scott Buckley, James Kendrick; Eoin O’Connor, Paddy Kelly; Cian Hurley, David Hyland, Luke Clohessy.

Replacements: Kieran O’Shea, Luke Masters, Dylan Murphy, Evan Murphy, Daniel Okeke, Ethan Coughlan, Jack Crowley, Jack Delaney.
