Out-half Jake Flannery joined the Greencore Munster Rugby Academy in the summer of 2019 and played a pivotal role in the Ireland U20s’ 2019 Grand Slam success.

Jake started out with Kilfeacle RFC and played for Rockwell College before progressing to AIL rugby with Shannon.

A talented all-rounder, Flannery has also lined out for the Tipperary Minor football side.

He made his first AIL appearance of the season for Shannon at the weekend after recovering from shoulder surgery and kicked three conversions and a penalty.
