2008 IRFU Tag Rugby

6th December 2007 By Munster Rugby

What better way to banish the winter blues – start recruiting your tag rugby team for next year. Registration for IRFU Tag Rugby gets underway on January 14th next.

As before, an even bigger and better IRFU Tag can boast of the best host venues, highest standard of referees and best fun to be had. Adding to this a new look website with extra features such as Design-Your-Own-Canterbury-Kit, a members and referees discussion forum, an SMS News Alerts service and the ability for sole Tag players to find a team to join free-of-charge.

In addition to the even greater (and still growing) list of host clubs, the following venues will be hosting various IRFU Tag Festivals such as provincial finals and Beach Tag through the summer:

Leinster IRFU Beach Tag at Courtown Beach – Hosted by Gorey RFC
Munster IRFU Beach Tag at Inchydoney Beach – Hosted by Clonakilty RFC
Connacht IRFU Tag One Day Festival – Hosted by Westport RFC
Leinster IRFU Tag One Day Festival – Hosted by Suttonians RFC
Munster IRFU Tag One Day Festival – Hosted by Clonmel RFC
Ulster IRFU Tag One Day Festival – Hosted by Bangor RFC
IRFU Tag All-Ireland Open Championships – Hosted by Galway Corinthians RFC

All enquiries can be directed to tag@irishrugby.ie. To keep an eye on any news or developments, bookmark IRFU Tag’s website (www.irfutag.ie) or by simply texting IRFU followed by email address to 087 7679791, a user can subscribe to IRFU Tag’s regular news service.
