8 Munster Schools’ Players In Ireland Squad

The Ireland Schools coaching team of Noel McNamara and Mark Butler have named the side to play Wales today at the FIRA-AER U-18 Competition which takes place in France.

Rockwell's Bill Johnston captains the side from the centre with Crescent College's Calvin Nash named on the left wing.

John Foley of St. Munchin's starts at no.8 as Ireland look to bounce back from a penalty kick defeat to Georgia after the sides drew 8-8.

CBC prop Peter Kelleher and Rockwell prop James Kendrick are among the front row replacements. PBC flanker Jack O'Sullivan, Crescent scrum-half Jack Lyons and Glenstal Abbey full-back Colm Hogan complete the representation from Munster schools in the squad.

Bantry man Dylan Murphy has also been named in the 26-man squad with the prop claiming a Leinster Schools Senior Cup earlier this month with Cistercian College, Roscrea.
