Abbeyfeale Book Place In Martin O’Sullivan Cup Final
8th October 2012 By Munster Rugby
First try rule was enough to send Abbeyfeale through to the Martin O’Sullivan Cup Final after they finished level 15-15 with Killorglin after extra time.
Matt Behan and Donogh Kelly scored tries for Abbeyfeale in the opening half and Tom Enright kicked a conversion and penalty to give the home side a 15-0 interval lead. A late rally by Killorglin which yielded two tries sent the game into extra time but there was no further scoring and the sides were level on tries, so Abbeyfeale first try decided it.

Bobby Rea replied with two penalties for Charleville. Daly kicked two penalties for Fermoy after the break and Paddy Brown replied with a try for the holders.
