The interprovincial fixtures for this year’s Munster age-grade squads have been confirmed.

The Munster U16, U17, U18 and U19 squads are currently preparing for their respective interprovincial campaigns at the Bank of Ireland Talent Camps which got underway earlier this month at UL, CIT and Irish Independent Park.

The talent camps include on-pitch activities, strength and conditioning sessions, and player welfare tutorials focusing on diet and nutritional needs.

The Munster U17 squad got their game day preparations underway last weekend with a competitive match against a touring American side, the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy.

The squad will participate in an U17 interprovincial blitz in Enfield, County Meath, tomorrow (Saturday 27 July) before hosting Sale Sharks in a friendly match at UL on Tuesday 6 August.

A Munster U18 squad will also host the English age-grade side on the same day and at the Limerick venue.

In preparation for the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship, the Munster U18 Girls squad will welcome a touring team to Irish Independent Park on Saturday 10 August.

Both Munster U18 Schools and U18 Clubs teams will once again face their provincial counterparts at the IRFU Festival of Rugby in UL over three match days – Saturday 17, Wednesday 21 and Sunday 25 August.

Munster U19 are set for three Interpro fixtures, opening at home to Connacht on Friday 16 August before travelling to Ulster on Wednesday 21 August and facing Leinster in their final fixture on Saturday 24 August.

The Munster U16 squad will contest Leinster in Waterford on Tuesday 20 August and Connacht at UL on Wednesday 21 August in two friendly fixtures.

Munster U18 Girls will participate in an extended five-week Interprovincial Championship alongside the Munster Women’s team (sponsored by Keane’s jewellers) in a series of double-headers.

The girls will host Ulster on Saturday 17 August, travel to Connacht on Saturday 24 August, and take on Leinster at home come Saturday 31 August.

Teams will then be seeded based on their finishing positions with semi-finals taking place on Saturday 14 September and the final scheduled for Saturday 21 September.
