AIL Munster Clubs Preview

There is a full programme of games in both the Ulster Bank All Ireland and Munster Junior Leagues this weekend.

The three Munster sides in Division 1A of the Ulster Bank All Ireland League all face Dublin opposition for the second successive weekend.

The two Limerick sides travel to the Capital as second-placed Young Munster meet St Mary’s at Templeville Road and Garryowen take on UCD in a basement clash at Belfield.

Cork Constitution take on bottom side Terenure College at Temple Hill. The Lilywhites will be looking to grind out a maximum point home win as they aim to build on last week's away win over Old Belvedere and climb further up the table.

The game of the day in Division 1B sees leaders UL Bohemian taking on Buccaneers in a top of the table clash at Dubarry Park in Athlone. This will be a tough assignment for the Limerick side as they aim to keep their unbeaten run intact with Buccs coming off the back of an away win over Dolphin.

UCC and Naas, who were both promoted last season, lock horns at the County Kildare venue and Shannon go in search of their first win as they take on fellow strugglers Dolphin at Thomond Park.

In Division 2A, Cashel take on Belfast Harlequins at Deramore Park. This will be a tricky assignment for the Tipperary side as they aim to build on their first win over Blackrock College last time out.

Highfield travel to Stradbrook to take on Blackrock College, with whom they are level on points with but ahead on points difference. The Woodleigh Park side, who are still unbeaten with three draws to their credit, will have their work cut out against a ‘Rock side who were defeated by Cashel last time out.

Third-placed Nenagh Ormond will be looking to make the most of home advantage count in a bid to keep their promotion challenge on track as they welcome leaders Banbridge to North Tipperary.

Sixth-placed Old Crescent are away to Division 2B leaders City of Armagh and Thomond, who are propping up the table with City of Derry, go in search of their first win as they entertain Skerries, who are hovering above the drop zone.

Midleton will be looking to make the most of home advantage as they aim to grind out a maximum point home win over struggling Seapoint.

Kanturk face a tricky task as they welcome fourth-placed Bangor to Duhallow and bottom side Bruff host third-placed Tullamore at Kilballyowen Park.
