It was a bad day for Limerick clubs in this weekend’s All Ireland League as they lose to injury time tries.

Young Munster travelled to Dublin to face Trinity in Division 1A and lost 21-19. Alan Tynan scored two tries for Munster and Ger Slattery got one. Munster’s looked like taking the spoils as they led 19-11 enter the final stages of this game but a late rally by the students which yielded a penalty, try and convert saw the students take the points to ease their relegation worries.

U.L. Bohemian lost a dramatic game at home to leaders Ballynahinch in Division 1B 24-17. The lead changed hands on several occasions and a penalty from Robert Bourke on eighty minutes tied the scores before a converted try in added time saw the visitors claim the spoils.

Jamie McNamara and Dara O’Grady scored tries for UL Bohes and Bourke converted both. Bohes are now two points above the relegation zone with three games to play.

Cashel moved up to third place in Division 2A, two points ahead of local rivals Nenagh Ormond after their 21-17 home victory against Queens University on St. Patrick’s Day. James Ryan and Keith Melbourne scored tries for Cashel and Darragh Lyons kicked three conversions and a penalty.

In Division 2B MU Barnhall defeated Rainey Old Boys 25-3 a result which means that Old Crescent could be crowned champions and promoted if they beat Dungannon at home next Saturday.
