Cork Constitution and Highfield maintained their top spots in their respective Divisions of the All Ireland League as UL Bohemian won the top of the table clash in the Women’s All Ireland League.

Cork Constitution recorded a maximum 35-19 bonus point win over Ballynahinch to extend their lead at the top of Division 1A of the All Ireland League to five points and this result leaves the Ulster side propping up the table.

Garryowen leap frogged over Terenure College into third place after their 27-14 away win over the Dublin side. Liam Coombes scored two tries for the Limerick side and Colm Quilligan and Diarmuid Barron got a try each. Jamie Heuston kicked two conversions and a penalty.

Dolphin staged a late rally to come from 24-7 down midway through the second half before being edged out by Buccaneers 27-24 at Irish Independent Park but some consolation for the Cork side was that they picked up two bonus points to move off the foot of the table. Andrew Doran, Albert Fronek, James Vaughan and Rob Reardon scored tries for Dolphin. Daryl Foley kicked two conversions.

UL Bohemian put up a brave performance away to leaders MU Barnhall picking up a losing bonus point in their 15-8 defeat. Oige Scannell scored a try for the Limerick side and Harry Byrne kicked a penalty.

A last minute try from Jack Fitzgerald converted by Kevin McManus earned Bruff a 14-10 home win over Sunday’s Well in their Division 2C clash. Shane Desmond gave the ‘Well a 7-0 interval lead with a try which Brian Derham converted. Bruff leveled with a Graham Whelan try converted by McManus. Derham put the ‘Well ahead with a penalty five minutes from time only for Bruff to rally to win it.
