U16 and U18 Bank of Ireland Munster Cup winners, Bandon RFC and Skibbereen RFC, were crowned All Ireland Club champions at Mullingar RFC on Saturday.
Bandon defeated U16 Leinster champions Gorey RFC 27-16 as Skibbereen shared the spoils with U18 Leinster champions Navan RFC following a 10-10 draw in the final.
Navan led 7-0 at half-time with a converted try but Skibbereen drew level minutes into the second-half with an Adam O’Regan try and conversion from Jamie Shanahan.
The Leinster champions responded with a penalty before Shanahan converted a three-point opportunity to equalise and confirm their shared All Ireland status.
Munster U16 Cup champions Bandon edged out Ballina 17-12 in the All Ireland semi-final while Munster U18 Cup champions Skibbereen defeated Ballinasloe 14-3 in the last eight to secure their place in the All Ireland final.
