All Tipperary Munster Junior Cup Final

Tipperary Clubs Clanwilliam and Clonmel will meet in the Munster Junior Cup final this Sunday, 11th May at Musgrave Park, kick-off 2.30pm.
Clanwilliam FC will be vying for their second title which they last claimed back in 1947 while their Tipperary rivals, Clonmel RFC seek their first.
The semi finals last Sunday saw Clanwilliam claim a 16-10 home victory over first division side Clonakilty while Clonmel defeated U.L. Bohemian 20-10 at Annacotty.
The cup, last won by Garryowen FC, was presented in 1909 by former Ireland international Mr. Jack MacAuley under the auspices of Garryowen Football Club.
In what has been a very successful season for Clonmel, finishing up second in the J1 League, they also face Cobh Pirates at Cobh RFC on Thursday, 8th May (kick-off 7pm) in the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup semi final. The winners will take on St. Mary’s RFC in the final – fixture TBC.
