Munster travel to the Sportsground in Galway on Saturday to take on Connacht in Round 3 of the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship.

Former Munster and Ireland international Niamh Briggs is the Head Coach of the Munster Women’s squad for the upcoming campaign.
Munster are the reigning Interpro champions after they clinched last season’s title thanks to a dramatic win over Leinster in Donnybrook.
Munster have won both of their games so far in this year’s Championship. They opened their campaign with a 34-0 win over Ulster before beating Leinster 26-17. Both games took place in Musgrave Park.
Connacht lost 38-10 to Leinster in Donnybrook in the opening round before getting a 19-25 win against Ulster in Belfast on Saturday.
Munster are top of the Interprovincial table on 10 points with Leinster and Connacht both on five points. Ulster are in fourth place on one-point.
