Munster take on Connacht in the third fixture of this season’s Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship in Dexcom Stadium this Saturday (KO 2.30pm).

Munster secured back-to-back bonus point victories in the first two rounds over Ulster and Leinster and will look to keep that momentum going when they face a strong Connacht side in Galway.

Munster go into this fixture with a bonus point 32-21 win from their game against Leinster with Munster scoring five tries at Virgin Media Park.

Seven players have made their debuts for Munster across the opening two games; Michelle O’Driscoll, Lucia Linn, Emma Dunican, Annakate Cournane, Ciara McLoughlin, Ciara O’Dwyer and Caitriona Finn.

Last season, Munster beat Connacht 46-7 in Virgin Media Park.

Connacht started this campaign with a loss to Leinster in Dublin before drawing to Ulster in Belfast.

Munster have already qualified for the Interpro final which will take place on Saturday, August 31st in Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.
