As a pure food company, with a wide range of dairy and nutritional products, we believe our involvement with both schools and youth’s rugby in the province is an ideal mix in promoting a healthy lifestyle for our youths through sport and healthy diet”.

“Also this year we are introducing a bursary support of €;5K that will be divided between two up and coming players selected from the schools/youths system to enter the Munster Rugby Academy”.

“The association of our Avonmore Super Milk brand with Munster Schools and Youths has been very successful over the past six seasons and we are eagerly looking forward to the 2011 Schools/Youths Campaigns and our continued Avonmore Milk sponsorship of the Munster Youths and Schools Teams. It is great to see so many former Schools players of recent years now representing Munster including Tomás O’Leary CBC, Keith Earls St. Munchins, Paul O’Connell Ard Scoil Ris, Ronan O’Gara PBC, Denis Leamy Rockwell and David Wallace Crescent to name but a few”.

Munster Rugby CEO Garrett Fitzgerald commented, “The continued partnership of Munster Rugby and Avonmore, through this sponsorship is appropriate and valued as both brands focus on people and their physical well being. The Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cups are steeped in tradition and we are delighted that Avonmore continue to support these great competitions and in addition are now introducing a bursary element to their sponsorship”.
