Ballincollig RFC Girls Skills Camp

Girls rugby is alive and well in Ballincollig, with over 90 girls recently attending a skills camp run by the Munster Rugby Coaching and Development Office.

On Friday 16th of March, the professional staff of the Munster Rugby Coaching & Development Office, in conjunction with Ballincollig RFC held a Girls Skills Camp in the club.

Over 90 girls from 3 schools attended the day. The schools in attendance were Colaiste Choilm, Ballincollig Community School and Carrigaline Community School. T

he aim of the camp was to increase the numbers of girls playing in the schools and club. Since the camp, club training for girls has begun every Monday from 5.30pm-6.30pm and all are welcome.
