Ballyseedy Volunteer Recognition Programme Launched For 2020/21

25th November 2020 By The Editor

Ballyseedy Volunteer Recognition Programme

The Ballyseedy Volunteer Recognition Programme rewards people working hard behind the scenes within clubs and schools throughout the province.

Munster Rugby are delighted to launch this programme for a third year and to acknowledge the efforts of volunteers who devote countless hours to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all involved with club/school rugby, particularly in the current COVID-19 climate.

Munster Rugby identifies the need to reward those individuals who have dedicated their time by honouring them with a recognition programme while also raising their profile.

From the kitchen caterer to the weekend touch judge to the coaches who manage the underage sides, it is up to you to nominate worthy contributors.

The programme will run from December 2020 to March 2021 with a reward scheme consisting of individual ‘Volunteer of the Month’ awards.

The recognition programme is open to any person currently associated with domestic rugby in Munster, in a non-paid capacity within a club, school, college, university or associated affiliate of the Munster Branch IRFU.

Nathan McDonnell, Managing Director of Ballyseedy said:

“It has been a very challenging year for the hospitality and retail industry, but here at Ballyseedy, we are delighted to continue our association with Munster’s Rugby Volunteer Recognition Programme at grassroots level. We very much look forward to our involvement again during the 2020/2021 rugby season.”
