Bandon & Ennis Progress To All Ireland Age-Grade Club Final Stages

Bandon RFC and Ennis RFC go through to the All Ireland U18 and U16 Club final stages, following their respective Bank of Ireland Munster U18 and U16 Cup victories at Thomond Park last Sunday.

Bandon edged out Skibbereen 15-13 in the Munster U18 Cup final in a thrilling contest to reach the national stages of the provincial competition.

The West Cork side have progressed to the All Ireland U18 Club final on Saturday 28 April, following Buccaneers’ decision to concede at the semi-final stage.

Leinster U18 club champions, Skerries, and Ulster U18 club champions, Rainey Old Boys RFC, contest the semi-final with the winner meeting Bandon in the final at the end of the month.

Ennis claimed the Munster U16 Cup after defeating Cobh Pirates 21-12 in the final at Thomond Park.

The Clare side will go head-to-head with their Connacht age-grade counterparts, Ballinasloe, in the All Ireland U16 Club semi-final at Corinthians RFC this Saturday, 14 April (kick-off 1pm).

Ballinasloe RFC v Ennis RFC, Saturday 14 April, Corinthians RFC, 1pm

All Ireland U18 Club Final:

Bandon RFC v Skerries RFC or Rainey Old Boys RFC, Saturday 28 April, Venue & KO TBC
