Bandon Grammar Qualify For Munster Schools Junior Cup

Bandon Grammar will play St. Munchin’s next Wednesday 22nd January in the opening round of the Munster Junior Schools Cup at Bandon after their 19-5 victory over St. Clements’s at Fermoy.

Bandon Grammar were deserving winners in this the final qualifying game for the Junior Cup. They raced into an early lead with a try by Ben Gur after five minutes. Two penalties from Ethan Green made it 11-0 at half time.

Green extended Bandon’s advantage with a third penalty before Enis Haxhaij scored a try for Clements. James French completed the scoring with a second try for Bandon minutes from time.
