Bandon RFC And Waterpark College Train With Australian Internationals

The U17 Bandon RFC and Waterpark College squads were the recent winners of a Munster Rugby competition to train with three Australian International players in Thomond Park.

Both squads took to the pitch yesterday in an hour long training session which was overseen by Munster Domestic Rugby staff and Australian internationals Anthony Faingaa, Rob Simmons and Ben Daley.

The players worked through three different activities consisting of decision making drills, breakdown work and a general movement game followed by a questions and answers forum.

The competition, launched last October, was open to all club and school U17 squads who were invited to submit a 60 second video clip themed “How Will Munster Beat Australia”.

Munster Rugby would like to thank the Australian Rugby team for their support in running this initiative.
