The final group stage of the Bank Of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup gets underway this weekend with a host of fixtures taking place across the province.
In Group One Cork Constitution sit at the top after Highfield conceded this weekend’s game to them.
Nenagh Ormond RFC now lie in second on level points with the current AIL champions with a game still in hand
Highfield now take the third rung in the group with a win and two losses to their name while Shannon rounds out the group in fourth.
There is just one fixture on the cards for Group One this weekend as Shannon take on Nenagh-Ormond in Coonagh.
Group Two is the only of the four groups that have finished their round robin games.
Young Munster took the top spot on nine points. Garryowen sat just three points behind in second while UCC sit in third on just a single point.
In Group Three Tipperary natives Clonmel top the table with nine points from two games.
Cashel and Bruff sit in second and third place with six points a piece with just points difference separating the sides.
UL Bohemian round out the table in fourth place having lost to both Cashel and Bruff.
The remaining matchups in Group Three are Cashel v Bruff and UL Bohs v Clonmel on the 23rd of November.
Finally Group Four is topped by Old Crescent who have won all of their group games.
Dolphin sit in second having lost to Old Crescent but have been saved by two losing bonus points.
Midleton sit in third having also been beaten by Old Crescent.
There is just one fixture remaining in Group Four as Dolphin take on Midleton in Virgin Media Park on the 14th of December.
Once the remaining games are played out all of those that have topped their respective tables will go forward into an open draw to determine the pairings for the knock out stages.
