Big Turnout At Limerick Coaching Course

Over 30 coaches from around the province attended the Stage 2 Coaching course in Thomond Park last weekend.

The two-day course saw coaches work with Munster Rugby staff covering areas from scrum and backline attack to practice sessions and fitness for the young player.

This course is designed to enhance coaches' knowledge and understanding of the game and is relevant to those coaching at U13 to U16 level.

The Munster Rugby Coach Development Department are currently delivering their annual IRFU coaching courses and a number of courses for different stages of coach development have already taken place throughout Munster.

To date this season, three stage 1 courses, two stage 2 courses, and a stage 3 course have been delivered over the past two months and they continue with a stage 1 course this weekend in Clonmel RFC (Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th of October).
