Blitz Day At Waterford RSC
31st May 2016 By Munster Rugby
Munster Rugby in conjunction with the Waterford Sports Partnership recently ran a rugby programme in St John’s School Dungarvan and St Joseph’s School Waterford.
The programme ran for four weeks introducing skills through a non-contact version of rugby culminating with a blitz at the Regional Sports Centre in Waterford.
Coordinated by Munster Community Rugby Officer John O’Neill, the one day event was run by Waterford Sports Partnership Development Officer Pauline Cunningham and Danny May of the Community Coaching Programme.
The blitz was a great success and provided the opportunity for players to further develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the game with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment.
