Bowen Shield & McCarthy Cup Final Results

The finals of the U17 Bowen Shield and U15 McCarthy Cup A and B competitions took place yesterday in Limerick and Cork respectively.

Christian Brothers College edged out St Munchin’s College 15-14 in the U17 Bowen Shield final at Thomond Park Stadium.

CBC were also victorious in the U15 McCarthy Cup B final after defeating Presentation Brothers College 35-24 at Irish Independent Park.

PBC were the winners in the other final held at the Cork venue, recording an impressive 39-14 victory over Rockwell College to lift the U15 McCarthy Cup in the A competition.
