Bright Future For Mitchelstown
14th November 2011 By Munster Rugby
With three wins out of three this season beating UCC, Douglas and Fermoy in the Junior 3 South Munster League, Mitchelstown RFC have high hopes for the future.
The club currently train on a small rented field under mobile lights and are hoping to have their own pitch secured within the coming months.
This is attributed to the huge efforts of club volunteers in their endeavors to develop the club’s facilities for the continued progress and future of Mitchelstown rugby.
A total of 28 club players recently took part in a Munster Rugby coaching session in conjunction with the Club’s Head Coach Ed Horgan, focusing on rucking and the off load in the tackle.
All participants were eager to impress on the night as the competition continues for a first XV slot.
Munster Rugby would like to wish Mitchelstown RFC every success for the season and future ahead.
