Bruff & Garryowen To Contest ODM Senior Cup Final.

This year’s ODM Munster Senior Cup Final will be a repeat of last season’s decider as both holders Bruff and Garryowen came through their semi finals with big winning margins.
Bruff put an end to Shannon’s great start to the season with a 31-14 victory at Coonagh. The holders led 12-0 at half time and had two tries from P Obrien and one each by Michael Carroll, Cathal O’Regan and John Shine. Tony Cahill kicked three conversions. Shannon replied with tries Mossy Lawlor and Aaron Spring with Gareth Quinn-McDonagh converting both.
At Dooradoyle Garryowen ended Cashel’s great run with a blistering start that saw them finish up 47-10 winners. Corey Haycock and Ian Hanly scored two tries each for the winners and Ronan O’Mahony, Paul Neville and Anthony Gahan got one each. Fergal Lawlor kicked three conversions and two penalties. Darragh O’Brien and Brian Silke replied with tries for the Tipperary side..

Final is fixed for Thomond Park on Saturday October 22nd with a 2.30 kick off.
