Castletroy Advance To Semi Final

Castletroy College advanced to the SEAT Munster Schools Senior Cup semi final today following their 20-10 victory against Glenstal Abbey at the 4G Pitch in the University of Limerick.

Castletroy College 20, Glenstal Abbey 10.

Castletroy dominated the opening half and were 14-0 ahead at half time with tries from winger Paul Butler and hooker Mark O’Mara both of which Conor Linehan converted.

Glenstal came more into the game after the break and Jack Stafford opened their account with a penalty. The gap was closed to four points with a try by Jamie McAleese which Stafford converted.

Two penalties from Linehan ensured Castletroy’s passage to the last four.
