Castletroy On Course To Retain Title

Holders Castletroy College cruised through to a home quarter final tie in the SEAT Munster Schools Junior Cup at the UL Sports complex.

Castletroy College 27, St. Munchin’s 7.

Sean English was the hero for Castletroy scoring three tries. The holders led 17-0 at half time with a try from Dara O’Neill and two by English and Dara Neville added one conversion.

English’s third was converted by Neville who also added a penalty in the final minute. St. Munchin’s only reply was a try by Charlie Carmody which Jason Kiely converted.
