Celebrating Munster Women Past And Present

Munster Rugby are set to host a special event, ‘Celebrating Munster Women Past and Present,’ in association with GUINNESS and Keanes Jewellers on Saturday, April 11 at Thomond Park Stadium.

The celebratory event will honour and acknowledge the contribution of Munster players who have previously represented the province.

Munster Rugby and the Women’s Rugby Committee are looking forward to welcoming players both past and present to the event, which takes place in the Thomond Suite ahead of Munster’s GUINNESS PRO14 clash with Cardiff Blues.

Chairperson of the Munster Rugby Women’s Committee, Wendy Keenan, said: “We will be celebrating Munster Women both past and present next month and all of the Munster Women’s Committee are very excited to launch this event.

“The event will consist of speeches, presentations to players, and a pre-match meal ahead of the Cardiff Blues match. We would like to thank GUINNESS for their support and Keanes Jewellers for providing commemorative gifts for presentations.”

“It will be a fantastic occasion for us to commend the achievements of Munster Women who have worn the red jersey and represented the province over the years.”
