Charity Tag Rugby Blitz In LIT

LIT students ran a charity Tag Rugby Blitz last month in aid of First Light, a charity which supports suddenly bereaved parents and families.

Two events took place with over 120 pupils from St. Munchin's, Corpus Christi, John F. Kennedy Memorial School, Christ of King Carherdavin and Parteen National School taking part in a highly competitive tag rugby blitz.

After lunch an adult blitz took place with over 100 adults getting involved including students and lecturers.

There was also a raffle on the day and the students would like to thank all those who donated prizes. Students are still selling sponsorship cards for anyone who wants to make a donation and the contact number is 0877414107.
