21st January 2013 By Munster Rugby
Cork Institute of Technology Rugby Department recently ran a competition for 4th, 5th and 6th year secondary schools students throughout Munster, with a top prize of attending a Munster Rugby training session.
Entrants were asked to give their view on why CIT and Munster Rugby are a winning partnership in less than 100 words.
The ten lucky winners were treated to a tour of the Munster Rugby Elite Gym at CIT as well as a visit to Musgrave Park to view Munster’s training session ahead of their home clash against Racing Metro in the Heineken Cup.
Following training, the Munster squad mingled with the competition winners and also took time to pose for photos.
The winners’ day was topped off when they received complimentary tickets to attend Munster’s RaboDirect PRO12 fixture against Edinburgh on 9th February in Musgrave Park.
